Oscillatory Behavior of Higher-order Neutral Type Dynamic Equations
The oscillation behavior of solutions for higher-order delay dynamic equations of neutral type is investigated by making use of comparison with second-order dynamic equations. The method can be utilized to study other types of higher-order equations on time scales as well.
متن کاملOscillatory Behavior of Second Order Neutral Differential Equations
Oscillation criteria are obtained for solutions of forced and unforced second order neutral differential equations with positive and negative coefficients. These criteria generalize those of Manojlović, Shoukaku, Tanigawa and Yoshida (2006).
متن کاملOn the Oscillatory Behavior of Even Order Neutral Delay Dynamic Equations on Time-scales
on an arbitrary time scale T ⊆ R with sup T = ∞ and n ≥ 2 an even integer. Whenever we write t ≥ t1 we mean t ∈ [t1,∞)∩T = [t1,∞)T. We will use the basic concepts and notation for the time scale calculus; we refer the reader to the monograph of Bohner and Peterson [3] for additional details. We shall assume that: (i) α and λ are ratio of positive odd integers; (ii) a, p, and q : T → R = (0,∞) a...
متن کاملOscillation of higher-order neutral dynamic equations on time scales
Correspondence: [email protected] Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, Çankaya University, 06810 Ankara, Turkey Abstract In this article, using comparison with second-order dynamic equations, we establish sufficient conditions for oscillatory solutions of an nth-order neutral dynamic equation with distributed deviating arguments. The arguments are based on Taylor monomials on...
متن کاملUnbounded oscillation of higher-order nonlinear delay dynamic equations of neutral type with oscillating coefficients
In this paper, we present a criterion on the oscillation of unbounded solutions for higher-order dynamic equations of the following form: [ x(t) +A(t)x(α(t)) ]∆n +B(t)F (x(β(t))) = φ(t) for t ∈ [t0,∞)T, (?) where n ∈ [2,∞)Z, t0 ∈ T, sup{T} = ∞, A ∈ Crd([t0,∞)T,R) is allowed to alternate in sign infinitely many times, B ∈ Crd([t0,∞)T,R), F ∈ Crd(R,R) is nondecreasing, and α, β ∈ Crd([t0,∞)T,T) a...
